Blow-Up is a 1966 psychological mystery film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, a co-production of the United Kingdom and Italy. It follows a fashion photographer in Swinging London who believes he has photographed evidence of a murder in a park and, enlarging his photographs for proof, finds the truth of what he saw growing more uncertain. Its explicit content defied the Production Code of the Hollywood studios, and its success is credited with contributing to the end of that Code in 1968; the film won the Palme d'Or at the 1967 Cannes Film Festival.
