This group collects the World and International Narrative Cinema subcategory's members whose primary country of origin is Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Bolivia or Venezuela, read from the member's own recorded Country fact or its description text. It spans the Brazilian Cinema Novo and favela film traditions, the Mexican New Wave and Argentine auteur cinema, kept apart from this subcategory's other regional groups purely on the continental convention the report itself proposes.
