Vagabond is a 1985 French drama written and directed by Agnes Varda, starring Sandrine Bonnaire as Mona Bergeron, a young drifter found dead in a ditch at the film's opening. Told through flashbacks and interviews with people who crossed her path, the film reconstructs Mona's final winter hitchhiking and doing odd jobs through the Languedoc-Roussillon wine country.
