Tim Anderson

Video Game Technology Pioneers

Tim Anderson is an American computer programmer best known for co-creating the adventure game Zork, one of the first works of interactive fiction and an early descendant of ADVENT, also known as Colossal Cave Adventure. Zork grew out of a programming project by a group at MIT and became one of the best known text adventure games, which is why Anderson is counted among the pioneers of early video game design and interactive fiction.
