Donald Virgil Bluth, known as Don Bluth, born in El Paso, Texas, on 13 September 1937, is an American filmmaker, animator, video game designer and author. He came to prominence working for Walt Disney Productions before creating his own film studio in the early 1980s, and he is best known for directing the animated films The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail and The Land Before Time. Within this atlas Don Bluth is credited as the creator and director of The Secret of NIMH and the director of Anastasia.
