This child group of European Cinema collects that broader group's members whose primary country of origin is Italy, spanning Italian neorealism's postwar classics, the commedia all'italiana, and the auteur cinema of directors such as Fellini, Antonioni, Visconti and the Taviani brothers, kept apart from this parent group's other national clusters by Italy being the clearly primary listed country of origin.
