Music Box is a 1989 American legal thriller directed by Costa-Gavras from a screenplay by Joe Eszterhas, starring Jessica Lange as an attorney who defends her Hungarian-American immigrant father, played by Armin Mueller-Stahl, against accusations that he committed war crimes during the Second World War and should have his citizenship revoked. Loosely based on the real case of John Demjanjuk, it won the Golden Bear at the 40th Berlin International Film Festival.
