John Arthur Cunliffe (16 June 1933 to 20 September 2018) was an English children's author and television presenter who created Postman Pat and presented the first two series of Rosie and Jim. The atlas records him as the creator of the Postman Pat franchise, a children's property, so that the franchise can be traced back to the author who conceived it. His work for children ran across books and broadcast television, and the entry exists so that the property is traceable to a named creator and not only to the studio that later produced it.
