Swedish and Scandinavian Silent Films

Silent films of the Swedish and Danish industries of the 1910s and 1920s, a golden age marked by landscape, folklore and psychological depth, including Victor Sjostrom's The Phantom Carriage and Benjamin Christensen's Haxan. A work belongs here when its article calls it a Swedish or Danish silent film. Works are placed by what their cited article states about their country, form and period, and each work sits in exactly one group of this subcategory, so a film that fits two traditions goes where its article places it first.
