The devices and systems that capture, carry and exhibit media: cameras, transmitters, receivers, recording formats, projection and display technologies, and the networked systems that carry digital and streaming media today. An entry belongs here because capturing, transmitting or exhibiting media is its defining point, not merely because it involves electronics; general computing and laboratory apparatus outside that defining point are described in other atlases.
