Celebrity Productions, Inc. was an American film production and distribution company headed by Pat Powers that distributed the first fifteen Mickey Mouse cartoons produced by Walt Disney Productions. In 1928 Powers licensed his Cinephone sound system to Walt Disney, enabling Disney to make synchronized sound cartoons such as Steamboat Willie, and Celebrity Productions handled the distribution of Disney early sound era shorts under that arrangement. Powers closed Celebrity Productions in 1947 and established Pat Powers, Inc. in its place in New York City.
