Uyaiedu Ikpe-Etim is a Nigerian film producer, screenwriter and filmmaker, born on 7 June 1989, whose work tells the stories of Nigeria's marginalised LGBTQ communities. She is a co-founder of the production company Hashtag Media House and has worked since 2011 to give voice to minority communities in Nigeria. She came to prominence in 2020 with Ìfé, her directorial debut, produced with Pamela Adie: a love story between two women that shows the relationship without prejudice or stereotype. After Nigeria's film censorship board threatened its makers with prison sentences, the film was released abroad at the Toronto LGBT Film Festival in October 2020 and then screened at the Leeds International Film Festival. The BBC named her one of its 100 Women of 2020, and she gave a TEDx talk in 2015. Later credits include Nkoyo (2021) and writing for No Fury and Trepidation (both 2024). She is the younger sister of the Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe Etim.
