Jason Paul Laxamana is a Filipino filmmaker and writer from Angeles City in Pampanga who studied broadcast communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is known for directing romance films such as 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, Just a Stranger and Between Maybes, and expanded into action adventure cinema with his 2023 project Penduko. Laxamana received a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome in 2023 at age 36, a milestone he later spoke about publicly in connection with his career.
