Banksy

Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based street artist, political activist and film director who has never publicly confirmed an identity. Active since the 1990s, the artist is known for satirical street art that combines dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stencilling technique, and for political and social commentary that has appeared on streets, walls and bridges throughout the world. Banksy directed the documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, which is listed here as a work.
