Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (radio)

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is an American science fiction radio serial broadcast on CBS from November 1932 to May 1936, adapted from the Buck Rogers comic strip and pulp stories. Regarded as the first science fiction program on American radio, it followed Buck Rogers's adventures after being revived from suspended animation into a twenty-fifth century of advanced technology and interplanetary conflict, airing in fifteen-minute weekday episodes that eventually totaled roughly 720 installments. The Mutual Broadcasting System briefly revived the series twice more, in 1939 and 1940, though only a small number of episodes from the original run are known to survive today.
