Woman's Hour is a BBC radio program first broadcast in 1946 on the Light Programme and now carried on BBC Radio 4, built around magazine style coverage of topics of particular interest to women, including health, relationships, careers, the arts and current affairs. It has interviewed a wide range of public figures over its run and is one of the BBC's longest continuously running programs of any kind. Despite its name it has occasionally featured male guest presenters and has broadened its subject matter well beyond a narrow domestic remit over the decades.
