Don McNeill's Breakfast Club

Don McNeill's Breakfast Club is an American radio variety program hosted by Don McNeill, launched on the NBC Blue Network on June 23, 1933 and continuing on ABC radio after the network's 1943 split, combining music, comedy, audience participation and inspirational segments in a morning format. McNeill hosted the program for more than thirty five years until its final broadcast on December 27, 1968, a tenure longer than any other network entertainment program host, surpassing later hosts such as Johnny Carson and Bob Barker. The program helped establish morning variety and audience-participation radio as a durable broadcast format.
