Sgt. Frog

Manga and Anime-Originated Franchises

Sgt. Frog, known in Japan as Keroro Gunso, is a Japanese comic science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Mine Yoshizaki, launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in April 1999. The story follows Sergeant Keroro, leader of a platoon of frog like alien invaders sent to conquer Earth, who is captured early on and ends up living with, and secretly serving, an ordinary human family while continuing to plot invasion schemes that rarely succeed. The manga was adapted into a long running anime television series and several theatrical films, with a new anime series announced for October 2026.
