The Two Ronnies is a British television comedy sketch show starring Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett, created by Bill Cotton, that aired on BBC Television from 10 April 1971 to 25 December 1987. Its format combined sketches, solo comic sections, serial stories and musical finales, and its Four Candles sketch, first broadcast on 18 September 1976, was voted the duo's funniest in a television poll. In a 2006 ITV poll of Britain's 50 greatest television stars, Barker and Corbett were ranked sixth.
