Kon-Tiki is a Norwegian documentary film about the Kon-Tiki expedition, in which the explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl and a small crew crossed the Pacific Ocean on a balsawood raft in 1947. Directed by Heyerdahl and edited by Olle Nordemar, the film won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, with the Oscar formally awarded to Nordemar.
