Dahomey (film)

Dahomey is a 2024 documentary directed by Mati Diop that follows the repatriation of 26 royal treasures of the former Kingdom of Dahomey, held for decades in a French museum, back to modern day Benin, and records the reactions of Beninese people to their return. A France, Senegal and Benin co-production, it won the Golden Bear at the 2024 Berlin International Film Festival.
