This group collects the Hollywood and English-Language Studio Cinema subcategory's members whose own recorded release year, or the first year stated in its own description when no release-year fact is recorded, falls in the 1920s or the 1930s: the coming of sound, the classical studio system's early consolidation, and Golden Age landmarks such as Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz. It is kept apart from this subcategory's other nine decade groups purely by release decade, the report's own proposed uncontested axis for this subcategory.
