The Film Crew is a twenty-second comedy video created by American performer Aimee La Joie, in which she portrays a succession of film-set roles including director, cinematographer, costume designer, producer, stunt performer and child actor. Released on TikTok on June 19, 2020 as part of a summer trend built around a popular song depicting everyday jobs, it went viral after being reshared by user @leesteffen on Twitter in August 2020, reaching more than seven million views and one hundred thousand shares. Critics praised the video for highlighting women working behind the camera in filmmaking, and its success led La Joie to make further videos profiling other entertainment-industry roles.
