Shrek Retold

Shrek Retold is a 2018 fan-made reanimation of the 2001 DreamWorks film Shrek, organized by YouTuber Grant Duffrin and assembled from scenes made independently by more than 200 different creators. It follows the same story as the original film but the animation style, voice acting and music shift from scene to scene, mixing 2D animation, live action, stop motion and other techniques in place of the original's 3D computer animation. Released on YouTube in November 2018, it was noted for its ambitious collaborative scale and its unusual, constantly shifting visual style.
