Overwatch

Overwatch is a 2016 team based multiplayer first person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, in which two teams of players choose from a large roster of distinct characters, each with unique abilities, to complete objectives such as capturing points or escorting a payload. The game was notable for its diverse cast of heroes, its emphasis on team composition and cooperative strategy over individual gunplay skill alone, and its esports-focused competitive modes. It was widely praised on release and helped popularize the hero shooter genre that numerous later games imitated.
