The Room Next Door

The Room Next Door is a 2024 drama, the first English-language feature written and directed by Pedro Almodovar, adapted from Sigrid Nunez's 2020 novel What Are You Going Through and starring Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore. It follows Ingrid, a successful author, who reconnects with her dying friend Martha in Manhattan and accompanies her to a rented house in Woodstock, New York, as Martha decides to end her own life on her own terms. The film won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, the first Spanish production to do so.
