Somewhere is a 2010 American drama written and directed by Sofia Coppola, starring Stephen Dorff as Johnny Marco, a famous but adrift actor living at the Chateau Marmont hotel, and Elle Fanning as his eleven year old daughter Cleo. When Cleo is left in his care after her mother's breakdown, her presence draws Johnny out of his empty daily routine of parties and fame and pushes him toward taking responsibility as a father. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where it won the Golden Lion.
