Clueless

Clueless is a 1995 American teen comedy written and directed by Amy Heckerling, a modern adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma set among wealthy Beverly Hills high schoolers. Alicia Silverstone stars as Cher Horowitz, a popular student who pursues matchmaking and charitable projects while navigating her own romantic life before coming to realize her feelings for her former stepbrother Josh. Produced by Scott Rudin and Robert Lawrence and distributed by Paramount Pictures on a budget of 12 million dollars, the film grossed 88 million dollars worldwide, became a sleeper hit, and is widely regarded as one of the best teen films ever made.
