Bring Me the Head of Charlie Brown is a 1986 American animated short film made by Jim Reardon while a student at CalArts. Presented as a mock trailer for a fictional Peanuts television special, it recasts Charles Schulz's characters in a violent action parody, with Charlie Brown transformed into a mohawked, armed action hero, and draws on the style of Sam Peckinpah's Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia along with visual references to Taxi Driver and The Wild Bunch. The roughly three-and-a-half-minute film is known as an early, irreverent deconstruction of a beloved children's comic strip property.
