Invitation to the Dance is a 1956 American dance anthology film made up of three separate stories, all starring and directed by Gene Kelly. It was the first film Kelly directed entirely on his own, after previously co-directing three films with Stanley Donen. It won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1956.
