Journalists and Broadcasters

Ezra Klein, born on 9 May 1984, is an American political commentator and journalist whose working life has moved from blogging to editing to podcasting. He rose to prominence as a blogger known for in-depth analysis of policy questions, and by 2007 his blog had gained enough of a following to be acquired by The American Prospect, where he was an associate editor. At The Washington Post he managed Wonkblog, a branded blog carrying his writing on domestic policy. In November 2020 he left Vox for The New York Times as a columnist and podcast host, presenting The Ezra Klein Show. He has written two books, Why We're Polarized and Abundance.
