Spotify

Spotify is a Swedish audio streaming and media services provider founded on 23 April 2006 by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon. The service gives subscribers access to music, podcasts and audiobooks through a freemium and paid subscription model, and is headquartered in Stockholm with offices in more than a dozen other cities worldwide. Spotify has grown into one of the largest streaming platforms in the world, with several hundred million monthly active users, and its incorporation of podcasting alongside music makes it one of the central distribution points for that medium.
