Jaime Levy

Jaime Levy is an American new media artist, interface designer and user experience strategist who was among the first people to publish original multimedia content for personal computers in the early 1990s, before the World Wide Web reached a mass audience. She created Electronic Hollywood, an interactive floppy disk magazine distributed on early Macintosh and PC formats, and produced the digital insert included with Billy Idol's 1993 album Cyberpunk. Levy went on to launch WORD, one of the first online magazines built for the web, and created the animated web series CyberSlacker, work that earned her a Flash Animation Award and recognition from Newsweek as one of the fifty people to watch in cyberspace. She later shifted toward user experience consulting and teaching, and her 2015 book UX Strategy, published by O'Reilly Media, became a widely used text on designing digital products, translated into nine languages.
