Peanuts

Peanuts is an American media franchise built on the comic strip created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, which debuted as a syndicated daily strip on October 2, 1950, in seven newspapers and ran until Schulz's death in February 2000 after nearly eighteen thousand published strips. The franchise has grown to include numerous animated television specials, beginning with A Charlie Brown Christmas in 1965, theatrical films such as The Peanuts Movie in 2015, a television series on Apple TV Plus, stage musicals, and extensive merchandise, and its characters have become cultural fixtures, including serving as a safety mascot for NASA.
