Emesis Blue

Emesis Blue is a 2023 Australian adult animated independent psychological horror fan film directed by Chad Payne, based on the multiplayer first-person shooter game Team Fortress 2 and made as a sequel to the 2018 short film Spy's Disguise. It was produced entirely using the Source Filmmaker animation tool by the fan group Fortress Films and released free on YouTube on February 20, 2023. The film draws its assets directly from Team Fortress 2, following the game's nine playable mercenary characters through a fictionalized version of the 2Fort multiplayer map while telling a largely original, surreal narrative in a mature tone. At one hour and 48 minutes long, it drew critical acclaim for production values and length that reviewers compared to a feature film rather than a typical Source Filmmaker production.
