The Wrong Trousers

The Wrong Trousers is a 1993 British stop-motion animated short film directed by Nick Park and produced by Aardman Animations, the second installment in their Wallace and Gromit series following A Grand Day Out. In the film, the inventor Wallace and his dog Gromit come into conflict with a villainous penguin, Feathers McGraw, who exploits a pair of robotic trousers built as a gift for Gromit in order to steal a diamond from the city museum. It debuted on BBC Two on 26 December 1993, received critical acclaim, particularly for its model-train chase sequence, and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 1994.
