Ice Age is a 2002 American computer-animated film directed by Chris Wedge, produced by Blue Sky Studios and released by 20th Century Fox Animation. Set during the Pleistocene ice age, it follows a woolly mammoth, a ground sloth and a saber-toothed cat, voiced by Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary, who discover a human infant separated from its tribe and undertake a journey to reunite the child with its people. It was Blue Sky Studios' first feature film, and its commercial success launched an extended Ice Age franchise of sequels.
