Wolfgang Reitherman, also known and sometimes credited as Woolie Reitherman, was a German-American animator, director and producer. He was born in Munich in 1909 and died in 1985. As a member of the Nine Old Men at Walt Disney Productions he was known for action-oriented animation, and his career ran from 1933 to 1981. Within this atlas Wolfgang Reitherman is credited as the director of The Jungle Book, Robin Hood (1973 film), The Rescuers (1977 film) and 101 Dalmatians (1961 film).
