Thomas Moore, known as Tomm Moore, was born in Newry, Northern Ireland, on 7 January 1977. He is an Irish filmmaker, animator, illustrator and comics artist who co-founded the Kilkenny animation studio Cartoon Saloon with Nora Twomey and Paul Young. His first three feature films, The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea and Wolfwalkers, were each nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Within this atlas Tomm Moore is credited as the director of The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea.
