A Close Shave

A Close Shave is a 1995 British stop-motion animated short film directed by Nick Park for Aardman Animations, the third installment in the Wallace and Gromit series following A Grand Day Out and The Wrong Trousers. Wallace and Gromit are running a window-cleaning business when Wallace falls for local wool-shop owner Wendolene Ramsbottom, and the pair discover that her dog Preston is secretly running a sheep-rustling operation. The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 68th Academy Awards, and a spin-off television series based on a character it introduced, Shaun the Sheep, later premiered in 2007.
