Philip Bradley Bird, known as Brad Bird, is an American filmmaker, animator and voice actor, born in Kalispell, Montana, on 24 September 1957. He took an early interest in animation and completed his first short subject by the age of 14, sent it to Walt Disney Productions, and was given an apprenticeship with the studio's Nine Old Men. He attended the California Institute of the Arts in the late 1970s and worked for Disney soon after. Within this atlas Brad Bird is credited as the director of The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
