Chicken Run

Chicken Run is a 2000 stop-motion animated film from Aardman Features, made in partnership with DreamWorks Animation and Pathe and directed by Peter Lord and Nick Park. It follows a group of chickens on an English farm who plot an escape modeled on prisoner-of-war films after learning their owners plan to turn them into pies. The film was Aardman's first feature-length production, following its earlier Wallace and Gromit shorts, and it became the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film in history, earning about 228 million dollars worldwide, evidence that painstaking clay animation could succeed as mainstream commercial cinema.
